Different Cigar Shapes and Sizes

The Parejo is the most traditional cigar shape — straight-sided, with an open foot (the end you light) and a rounded head (the end you cut). The Figurado is any cigar that isn’t perfectly straight — often featuring tapered or bulged shapes, common sizes: Robusto, Toro, Churchill, Corona These cigars are prized for their complexity and craftsmanship, common types: Torpedo, Belicoso, Perfecto, Pyramid.
Corona: Standard benchmark, typically 5½–6 inches long with a 42–44 ring gauge, offering balanced flavor and smoking time
Double Corona: Large size, 7½–8½ inches with a 49–52 ring gauge, emphasizing filler flavors over wrapper nuances
Churchill: Longer than a Corona, around 6¾–7 inches with a 48–50 ring gauge, ideal for extended smoking sessions
Toro / Corona Gorda: Medium length, thicker ring gauge (46–50), offering a cooler burn and fuller flavor
Robusto is approximately 4.5 to 5 inches long with a 48 – 52 ring gauge, which offers a 30–40-minute smoke.
Lonsdale: Slightly longer and thinner than a Corona, providing a more delicate smoke
Petit Corona: Shorter and thinner than a standard Corona, around 4–4½ inches with a ring gauge under 42, suitable for quick smokes
Pyramid: Tapered head with a wider foot, usually 6–7 inches long with a 40–54 ring gauge, allowing flavors to meld in the mouth
Torpedo: Similar to a pyramid but with a sharper point, emphasizing a focused draw and flavor
Belicoso: Shorter pyramid with a rounded or slightly pointed head, typically 5–5½ inches with a 50 ring gauge
Perfecto: Tapered head and foot with a pronounced midsection bulge, ranging 4½–9 inches, offering a unique smoking experience
