Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Great Lakes Mobile Cigars. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and handle online store orders.
Please read this policy before placing an order.
1. Adults 21+ Only
Great Lakes Mobile Cigars sells cigar-related products and services intended only for adults who are 21 years of age or older.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old and legally permitted to purchase cigar-related products. We may require age verification before processing, shipping, or releasing an order.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order if age cannot be verified or if we believe the order does not comply with applicable law.
2. Where We Ship
We currently ship only within the United States where our products may be legally shipped.
We do not ship to locations where cigar-related products are prohibited, restricted, or otherwise not allowed by law, carrier rules, or our own business policies.
At this time, we do not ship internationally.
We may also be unable to ship certain items to:
- P.O. boxes
- APO/FPO addresses
- U.S. territories
- Addresses where age verification cannot be completed
- Locations where carrier restrictions apply
If we are unable to ship your order, we will contact you and may cancel and refund the order.
3. Processing Time
Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days after payment is received and any required age verification is completed.
Processing time does not include weekends, holidays, carrier transit time, weather delays, or delays caused by incomplete order information.
Orders may take longer to process during holidays, public event weekends, high-volume periods, product restocks, or special promotions.
4. Shipping Time
Estimated shipping times vary based on the shipping method, carrier, destination, weather, holidays, and other conditions outside our control.
Typical estimated delivery time after processing is:
- Standard shipping: 3–7 business days
- Local or regional delivery, if offered: by arrangement
- Local pickup, if offered: by appointment or event availability
Shipping estimates are not guarantees. Once an order is with the carrier, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier.
5. Shipping Carriers
We may ship orders using USPS, UPS, FedEx, or another carrier depending on the product, destination, shipping method, age-verification requirements, and carrier availability.
We reserve the right to choose or change the carrier when needed to complete shipment safely and legally.
6. Age Verification and Adult Signature
Some orders may require age verification before shipment or upon delivery.
For cigar-related products, we may require:
- Verification that the purchaser is 21 years of age or older
- A valid government-issued photo ID
- Adult signature upon delivery
- Delivery only to the verified purchaser or another eligible adult age 21 or older
If an adult signature is required, someone age 21 or older must be available to receive the package. The carrier may request identification at the time of delivery.
If a package cannot be delivered because no eligible adult is available, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges, return shipping fees, or reshipment costs.
7. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout or provided during the order process.
Shipping costs may vary based on:
- Package weight
- Package size
- Shipping destination
- Shipping method
- Carrier fees
- Adult signature or age-verification services
- Special handling requirements
Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the refund is due to our error or another situation where we determine a shipping refund is appropriate.
8. Order Tracking
When tracking is available, we will provide tracking information by email or through your order account.
Please allow time for the carrier to update tracking information after the package is scanned.
If your tracking number shows no movement for several days, contact the carrier first for the most current delivery information. You may also contact us and we will do our best to assist.
9. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
Great Lakes Mobile Cigars is not responsible for orders delayed, lost, returned, or delivered incorrectly because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, or inability to complete age verification, the customer may be responsible for return shipping, reshipment fees, or other carrier charges.
10. Lost, Stolen, or Marked-Delivered Packages
If tracking shows that a package was delivered but you did not receive it, please check with household members, neighbors, your local carrier, and the delivery location first.
Great Lakes Mobile Cigars is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after the carrier marks them as delivered.
If you believe a package was lost in transit before delivery, contact us and the carrier as soon as possible so the issue can be reviewed.
11. Damaged Packages
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your name
- Order number
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the shipping box and packaging
- A brief description of the issue
Do not discard the packaging until the issue has been reviewed. The carrier may require photos or inspection of the packaging.
After review, we may offer a replacement, store credit, refund for the affected item, or another reasonable solution at our discretion.
12. Cigar Freshness and Weather Conditions
Cigars are sensitive to humidity, temperature, handling, and storage conditions.
We take reasonable care when preparing cigar-related shipments, but we cannot control weather, carrier storage conditions, delivery delays, or how long a package sits outside after delivery.
To protect cigar quality, please bring packages indoors promptly after delivery and place cigars in proper storage as soon as possible.
During periods of extreme heat, cold, storms, or other weather conditions, we may delay shipment to help protect product quality.
13. Products Not Shipped
Some items or services may not be available for shipping, including certain event packages, private event services, local-only offerings, custom cigar selections, deposits, booking fees, or items intended for in-person pickup or event use.
Product pages will indicate when an item is pickup-only, event-only, or not eligible for shipping whenever possible.
14. Event Packages and Bookings
This Shipping Policy applies to online store orders.
Private event bookings, cigar trailer packages, event deposits, event service fees, event cancellations, and rescheduling are handled under our Booking & Cancellation Policy.
If cigars or products are included as part of an event package, they may be delivered or provided as part of the event service rather than shipped separately.
15. Shipping Delays
Shipping delays may occur due to weather, holidays, carrier issues, product availability, age verification, incorrect addresses, payment issues, public events, or circumstances outside our control.
If we become aware that an order cannot be shipped within the stated timeframe, we will contact you with an update and provide available options.
16. Order Cancellations Before Shipment
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may be able to cancel an order before it has been processed, prepared, shipped, or made available for pickup. Once an order has shipped, been prepared, or been fulfilled, it may no longer be eligible for cancellation.
Cigar orders, custom orders, and event-related orders may not be cancelable once prepared.
17. Returns and Refunds
Shipping-related refunds, damaged items, incorrect items, and return eligibility are also subject to our Refund & Returns Policy.
